New! The WGW-SLX gateway connects a Lync 6, Lync 12, MC-66, or MCA-66 controller to your WiFi network and, with an internet connection, to the HTD cloud.

Use the HTD Home Audio app with any iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet for smart control of your whole-house audio system over your home's existing WiFi network.

Use the cloud connection feature to allow control of your system via Alexa (available now), Google Home (ETA April, 2024), or Apple's HomeKit (ETA May, 2024). Click here to read more.

The WGW-SLX connects either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable plugged directly into the router (not the modem!) or a network switch connected to the router.

Allows up to 8 simultaneous connections.

Please note that the WGW-SLX is NOT an audio streaming device. Its sole purpose is to allow control of the system from your smart devices and via popular voice platforms. Click here if you'd like to learn about music streamers.

The WGW-SLX connects your audio system to your home network and allows the HTD Home Audio app to control your system over WiFi. Unlike previous gateway models (GW-SL1 and WGW-SL1), the WGW-SLX also includes the necessary hardware and software for connecting to the HTD cloud, which in turn connects to Alexa, Google Home, and Apple's HomeKit.

The WGW-SLX operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency and performs best on the 20 MHz band across all channels. It does not connect to your WiFi network using the 5GHz frequency.

Please note that the WGW-SLX is NOT a music streaming device. Its purpose is to allow control of the system from a smart phone or tablet, and from the Alexa, Google Home, and HomeKit platforms.
