Customer/Technical Support

At HTD we do not hire sales people to answer calls. Instead we hire people who are passionate about home audio and the technology that drives the way it is distributed and enjoyed throughout the home. Our goal is to help people live better through great audio in their home and our customer/technical support reps are a conduit to make that happen. Helping our customers achieve success in their home audio project is what drives our success.

In addition to telephone, email, and case support, HTD customer/technical support reps are involved in many other aspects of our business including: processing customer feedback, improving our website and other customer interfaces, new product development and testing, as well as analyzing current and forthcoming technologies.

We look for the following traits when considering a candidate for one of these mission-critical positions:

  • Friendly and personable with an inherent desire to help people.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and problem solving skills.
  • Comfortable with computers/software. Training will be provided for our back-office software, NetSuite.
  • Minimum two years of experience in the home audio field.

Location: Plano, TX
Time requirement: 35-40 hours/week, times flexible M-F, 7:30 am – 7:00 pm.
Pay is hourly and dependent on experience; annual bonus opportunity
9 paid holidays + 12 paid personal time off days/year (additional days after 5 years of employment)
