Control the volume in individual rooms or zones with our impedance-matching stereo volume controls. The transformer-based design allows you to connect multiple pairs of speakers to the same volume control, or each pair to its own volume control, while maintaining a safe impedance level for your receiver or amp.
Volume controls are installed "in-line" between an amplifier and speakers. For convenience, 4-conductor speaker cable is often run from the amplifier to the volume control, and separate 2-conductor speaker cables are used to connect the volume control to each speaker.
Volume controls are often utilized with sub-zones of mid-level and advanced whole-house audio systems, as well as with traditional (Basic) 4-room and 6-room systems where every room in the home listens to the same source.
