Cinema W3 - Three Speakers, One Cabinet

The Cinema W3 is a popular option for reproducing the front left, center, and right speaker channels of a 5.1 or higher surround sound configuration with 50" (diagonal) and larger TVs. It is typically powered by a home theater receiver (AVR) located somewhere within the room, with speaker cables run behind the wall.

As with all of our Cinema speakers, the W3 is timbre matched with other models in the Cinema Series allowing you to select the best mix of models for your system and room. In most cases, the front soundstage created by the W3 is complimented by the W1 in the surround sound channels. A powered subwoofer is added within the room to add bass to all speaker channels and reproduce the Low Frequency Effects (LFE) channel.

At just four inches deep, the W3 mounts neatly below or above a flat-panel TV, offering a modern audio solution without the bulk of traditional bookshelf and center channel speakers that intrude into your room.

Each of the three speaker channels built into the W3 includes a 4-inch Kevlar woofer, a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, and a tuned port for added bass. Importantly, the W3 is built with a wood cabinet that won't vibrate or color sound the way plastic and metal enclosures can. The result is clear dialogue, dynamic midrange with a warm tone, and crisp highs that ensure every cinematic detail is faithfully reproduced.

Aesthetically, the W3 is just as refined with clean lines and an impeccable finish. The removable wood and cloth grille attaches effortlessly via hidden magnets, allowing the speaker’s flawless detailing and premium components to be showcased with or without the grille in place. Either way, the W3 maintains a stunning, understated presence that complements any room.

The included “diamond” mount adds only 1/4" to the overall depth and can be rotated +/- 5 degrees after installation to ensure the speaker lines up perfectly with your TV.
