The result is bass that’s not only more powerful, but also remarkably tight and articulate—even at high volumes.
Driven by the included SDA-200 Class-D amplifier, the S12 connects to your home theater receiver’s LFE output, faithfully reproducing the dedicated .1 channel with authority. It also takes on the deepest bass frequencies that your other speakers can't reach, extending the entire system’s low-end response for a more complete and immersive listening experience.
The external amplifier can be installed with your other AV equipment allowing flexible placement of the subwoofer by eliminating the need for a nearby power outlet—just run a speaker cable to the subwoofer and you’re set.
