The WGW-SL1 "gateway" connects a Lync 6, Lync 12, MC-66, or MCA-66 controller to your home network. Our current model (red stripe) connects either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable plugged directly into the router (not the modem!) or a network switch connected to the router.

Use the HTD Home Audio app with any iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet for smart control of your whole-house audio system over your home's existing WiFi network.

Allows up to 8 simultaneous connections.

Please note that the WGW-SL1 is NOT an audio streaming device. Its sole purpose is to allow control of the system from your smart devices. Click here if you'd like to learn about music streamers.

Details

The WGW-SL1 operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency and performs best on the 20 MHz band across all channels. It does not connect to your WiFi network using the 5GHz frequency.

Please note that the WGW-SL1 is NOT a music streaming device. Its purpose is to allow control of the system from a smart phone or tablet.
