Detailed Description

This is an active device that gets its power over the same Cat 5 (or higher) cable that connects it into the Lync system.  It can connect directly to the centrally-located Lync controller or to the back of a LyncTouch using Cat 5 (or higher) cable.

The BIP can be mounted where it is visible, or even hidden inside the wall cavity. Simply pair your Bluetooth-capable device (i.e. smart phone, tablet, TV, etc.) within 30 feet of the BIP and begin streaming audio wirelessly into your Lync whole-house audio system.

One of the features that sets Lync apart from other whole-house audio systems, is the ability to easily connect audio sources not only at the central location, but also at convenient connection points spread throughout the home.

You can add analog, digital, or wireless Bluetooth input locations throughout your home. The sources you connect to any of these input panels are then available to all zones in your home.

The Flexible Input Panel (FLIP) and Bluetooth Input Panel (BIP) can be connected directly to the central Lync controller OR to the back of a LyncTouch using standard Cat 5 (or higher) cable. The Source Input Panel (SIP) is our most economical input panel because it MUST be connected to a LyncTouch.

The FLIP and BIP get their power over the same Cat cable that connects the device into the Lync system.

Only one FLIP, BIP, or SIP can be connected to each zone.
