What's the best way to route speaker wire hidden behind drywall to your Cinema Series speakers?

The Midlite Speedport™ is our recommended solution.  Cinema Series speakers install very close to the wall, rendering traditional speaker plates and pass-throughs too bulky.  And while it is possible to simply punch a small hole in the wall and let the speaker conceal it, locating and retrieving speaker cable through such a limited opening can be frustrating.

The Midlite Speedport offers a cleaner, more efficient solution. The 2-inch diameter cutout makes it significantly easier to locate and access in-wall wiring. Its compact, low-profile design sits nearly flush with the wall, and the integrated rubber grommet keeps the opening neat and organized while concealing the mounting screws.

Installation Tip: If you're pre-wiring during new construction, secure the speaker cable in a loose zig-zag pattern between the studs near the intended speaker location. This makes it much easier to find when it's time for final installation.
