12-Channel (MultiRoom)

Get maximum flexibility from your whole-house audio system by using a dedicated 12-channel amplifier. Unlike amplifiers built into a controller (such as the Dueta AMP), external amplifiers let you tailor power and volume levels to the unique needs of each room.

A 12-channel amplifier is commonly used for 6 stereo zones, but it can be configured to power up to 24 speakers in a single area or support any combination of up to 6 stereo and 12 mono zones.

HTD 12-channel amplifiers combine outstanding features with lots of clean, high-current power. Built like a tank to commercial-quality standards, they satisfy the demands of almost any multi-channel, multi-room audio need.

With up to 120 watts into each of six stereo zones (max 4 speakers/zone), model DMA-1240 provides plenty of power for whole-house audio. Model DMA-1240ADS offers the same power but adds an auto-switching, second audio input for every amp channel. This allows a second source such as a TV, streamer, or voice assistant to be dedicated to those speakers, yet switch back to whole-house audio when desired.
