Cinema W1 - Single, Compact Speaker

The Cinema W1 is the most compact speaker in our Cinema Series lineup. With smaller TVs, the W1 is ideal for reproducing the front left, center, and right speaker channels. In larger spaces and with bigger TVs, the W1 excels as a surround sound speaker, offering a cost-effective solution for creating an immersive audio experience.

As with all of our Cinema speakers, the W1 is timbre matched with other models in the Cinema Series allowing you to select the best mix of models for your system and room. All of the models carefully balance versatility and performance, delivering rich, room-filling sound in an on-wall form factor that complements today’s modern living spaces without taking up floor space.

At just four inches deep, the W1 mounts neatly alongside flat-panel TVs, offering a clean audio solution without the bulk of traditional bookshelf speakers that intrude into your room. Whether used as a vertical left or right speaker, or mounted horizontally as a center channel, the W1 works best with screen sizes up to 65" (diagonal).

Larger displays and projection screens pair best with our more powerful LCR1 or LCR2 speakers for the front three speaker channels. In these configurations, the W1 offers an affordable option for the surround sound speaker locations, handling these ambient channels with ease and precision.

The W1 is built with a 4-inch Kevlar woofer, a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, a tuned port, and importantly a wood cabinet enclosure that won't vibrate or color sound the way plastic and metal enclosures can. The result is clear dialogue, dynamic midrange with a warm tone, and crisp highs that ensure every cinematic detail is faithfully reproduced.

Aesthetically, the W1 is just as refined with clean lines and an impeccable finish. The removable wood and cloth grille attaches effortlessly via hidden magnets, allowing you to showcase the speaker’s flawless detailing and premium components with or without the grille in place. Either way, the W1 maintains a stunning, understated presence that complements any room.

The included steel “diamond” mount can be rotated 90 degrees for vertical or horizontal installation and rotated +/- 5 degrees after installation to ensure the speaker appears perfectly level with your TV and surrounding area.
