Discreetly install your Alexa Echo Dot (version 1, 2, 3, or 4) in a ceiling or wall using one of our proprietary "Dot Kits". Run a single Cat 5 (or higher) cable to the Dot's location to power it over a long distance and simultaneously send its audio output into your stereo, home theater receiver, or whole-house audio system.
Works especially well with our PLA-240ADS stereo amplifier and DMA-1240ADS 12-channel amplifier where Alexa's voice and audio streaming can interrupt and take priority over any other audio source to which you are currently listening.
Update June, 2023: Amazon appears to have discontinued the Echo Dot Gen 3 and Gen 4, although refurbished units are still available on the Amazon website. New Gen 3 Dots can still be found on Ebay and possibly other sellers, while Gen 4 are more difficult to find. We recommend purchasing your Echo Dots before ordering one of these kits. The similar-looking Gen 5 does not have an audio output so will not work with our solution. Amazon may or may not release a new model with an audio output later this year. We are actively working on an alternative solution but cannot provide details at this time.
