Each of up to 6 zones (expandable to 16) can independently select from up to 8 audio components, including components spread throughout the home. Keypads include a built-in microphone for paging, a 3.5mm input for connecting an iPod or MP3 player, and IR functionality for controlling other centrally located equipment.

By using the trigger output on the MC2-86 controller with the trigger input on the Multi-Channel amplifier, the amplifier will only be “active” when a Keypad is powered on. If all keypads are powered off (which is easy to do from a single keypad), then the amplifier goes into “sleep” mode drawing minimal electricity. |
