Easily connect a local component, such as a CD player, TV, computer, iPod, etc., to the MC-86 controller using our SP1 Source Input Panel. Simply connect from any analog RCA-type outputs on your component to the RCA-type inputs on the panel. The signal is then transferred from the input panel to the KC2 Keypad via a special 30' cable that is include with each input panel. A 60' cable can be purchased separately for a modest charge- please call to order. The signal is then transferred to the MC-86 down the same Cat-5 cable used to connect the KC2 Keypad to the MC-86.

The SP1 is designed to fit a Decora-style cutout. We provide an attractive "screwless" wall plate, but you can instead choose to install the input panel using your own Decora-style wall plate, including any multi-gang plate.

Please note that when utilizing an SP1, two shorting bars need to be removed from the back of the KC2 Keypad for proper operation. Complete instructions are included with each Keypad. Also note that when a component is connected directly to the keypad using the 3.5mm input jack on the KC2 keypad, its signal will override the signal sent to the Source Input Panel.
RCA-type inputs for easy connection to an analog source.
