 | Our mid-level whole-house audio system is feature-packed, easy to install, and incredibly affordable. No other system near this price delivers such rich-sounding audio throughout multiple zones in your home. Each of six zones (infinitely expandable) independently selects from up to 6 centrally located sources (e.g. DVD player, tuner, iPod, iTunes, etc.). Or, from any keypad, easily turn on all zones to the same source for party mode. You can also monitor and/or control this system using your own computer with the RS-232 interface and our free PC software. Same great features, YOU choose how loud . . . These are easy-to-install and feature rich systems that include elegant back-lit Decora-style Keypads. Choose from an all-in-one 6-Source/6-Zone controller (MCA-66) with a built-in multi-channel amplifier with a maximum of 60 watts and 4 speakers per zone; OR add even more power to each zone by selecting just the controller (MC-66) with an external 12-channel amplifier. Need more than 6 zones? Within any zone, you can always add more amplifiers and speakers to the pre-amp outputs. But if you really need more than six unique zones, just use more than one set, e.g. 2 sets = 12 zones, 3 sets = 18 zones, etc. Buy a set, get the 10-pair price! Purchase a complete set and before we process your order, we’ll adjust the price of all in-wall, in-ceiling, and outdoor speakers to the 10-pair price. At HTD, our customer support team is available by phone and email to assist you in planning and implementing a successful home audio project. If you are in new construction or planning a major remodel, you can upload your plans and together we’ll lay out a plan that you can implement yourself or provide to your builder. As always, customer support is free at HTD. Item in Stock. Ships same day (M-F) if ordered by 2pm Central. |

With the MCA-66, the built-in amplifiers for each zone are only “active” when a Keypad in that zone is powered on. If the Keypad is off, then the amplifier channels go into “sleep” mode drawing minimal electricity. When using a combination of the MC-66 controller with one of our multi-channel amplifiers, connect the trigger output on the MC-66 with the trigger input on the multi-channel amplifier. By doing so, the amplifier will only be “active” when a Keypad is powered on. If all keypads are powered off (which is easy to do from a single keypad), then the amplifier goes into “sleep” mode drawing minimal electricity.
