The A-2050 is a class A-B amplifier that was first, and foremost, designed to deliver great sound.  It performs equally well as the primary power for a classic stereo system or as additional power for a home's distributed audio system.
 
Adding amplifier power of this quality to a whole-house system was previously considered cost prohibitive.  But with more and more households foregoing stand-alone stereo systems in favor of multi-room convenience, we thought it about time someone offered an amplifier that delivers the same great sound audiophiles have cherished for their private listening rooms, at a cost that justifies adding it to a zone or sub-zone in your home.
 
Most of our whole-house audio systems have been designed with the amplifier separate from the controller. We offer pre-packaged sets for both mid-level and advanced systems that match a 6 zone controller with a 12-channel (6 stereo) amplifier.  The A-2050 is often the perfect add-on to a zone or sub-zone that requires even more amplification than what is provided by the 12-channel amplifier.
