Use this Infra-Red (IR) receiving eye to receive IR signals from an IR remote control. It connects to our IR-BLOCK4 IR distribution block and all of our whole-house audio controllers (adaptor required for MC-66 and MCA-66). These devices pass IR signals to other nearby components (DVD players, cable boxes, etc.) so that your IR components can be located out of sight yet still be controlled. Note that all of our keypads (KC6, KC7, LyncPad) already include a built-in IR receiver eye. The IR-RX2-T simply gives you an extra location, near the primary equipment, to receive the IR signals.
Cable Length: 2 meters (~6 feet)
Connector type: bare wire
IR frequency: <56 kHz
