In many of today's installations, audio and video components are hidden behind cabinets or located in a closet. You can still use your Infra-Red (IR) remote controls to control these components with the use of an IR receiving eye, IR emitters, and this IR distribution block.
 
Connect one IR receiving eye and up to 4 infra-red emitters (dual or single). Position the eye where it is convenient inside your room (you will aim your IR remote controls at the receiving eye). Place one emitter in front of each component you wish to control (up to 8 with the use of dual IR emitters). When you aim your IR remote control at the eye, the signal is passed through the IR Block and on to each component that has en emitter located in front of it.
