The following HTD Whole-House Audio Controllers include a serial RS-232 port (9 pin) for connecting a PC for additional control and monitoring functionality: MC-66, MCA-66, and Lync. Connecting a PC to this port is required with a Lync system if you wish to personalize the names of Sources and Zones.
We offer a Male/Female extension cable because the controller includes a female plug and most PCs provide a male plug. Check your PC before ordering.
Please note that this adapter cable is not made by HTD but provided as a service to our customers. Similar cables are available elsewhere that will also work with our whole-house audio controllers.
